I love to travel. One of my favorite destinations lately is the wine country of Napa Valley area in Northern California. You will see a lot of future posts relating to anything “travelish” to Napa. Anyway, today I am sharing a little gem with you. Often we purchase a bottle of our favorite vino during our day of wine tasting. Wouldn’t it be nice to bring it to dinner? Well, some people feel  shy about doing this. It’s actually not frowned on in Napa. However, it’s also not exactly highly advertised either. They have corking fees for a reason, to enable you to bring your own wine. This is cool because then you can bring something you really want to drink and as an added bonus it can be a huge savings. Let me tell you, in the wine country, dinners don’t come cheap. So here is my “cheat sheet” of corking fees” at the more popular restaurants in Napa Valley (and surrounding areas). There are actually many restaurants with NO CORKING FEES! I have also included all the restaurants phone numbers. You’re welcome. ;)

Memo:

Feel free to contact me with questions regarding different restaurants. I have lots of favorites and lots of opinions that I would find very selfish to keep to myself.
